Important Information about Childcare:

We have three age groups for childcare:  2&3 yrs; 4&5 yrs; 6-8 yrs.

Our staff are experienced childcare workers who enjoy working with children, but they need your cooperation in order for the program to run smoothly.

Please take note of the following:

Check In:  Parents must check in their children for childcare in the 100th Street lobby, and must remain in the building while children are here.

Childcare space is limited:  Parents are not to remain in childcare rooms.

Children are encouraged to bring holiday appropriate games:  (i.e. books, puzzles, etc).  No electronic games or writing/drawing materials are permitted.

Food:  We have light snacks available in childcare on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur.  If you wish to bring food for your child, it must conform to Ansche Chesed's kashrut policy, and must be nut-free.  Please notify us if your child has any food allergies.

Check in periodically:  If your child is to be left in childcare for long periods of time, please check in with the staff at least every two hours.

Diaper-wearing children:  We ask parents to check in periodically to change diapers.  We cannot provide this service.

Label everything:  Every item that your child will wear or carry should be labeled with his or her name.
