AC high school students are invited to join Rabbi Jeremy Kalmanofsky, Rabbi Yael Hammerman, and Sam Hollander, Ansche Chesed’s Youth and Family Program Director, for a bi-weekly class involving current events, Jewish texts and engaging conversations. We’ll serve the pizza, and you’re encouraged to bring questions, ideas and your friends. As an “Alternative Break” during Presidents’ Week, February 18-22, we will go on a service trip to Memphis, Tennessee, to learn about the history of civil rights activism and do social justice volunteering. Space will be limited, and priority will be given to those who attend our classes.
