Reverse Tashlich

Sunday, September 10, 2023 24 Elul 5783

10:00 AM - 11:30 AMHudson River Greenway

Each year during Tashlich, we cast our "sins" into the Hudson River. Join us this year for the "6th Annual Reverse Tashlich," where we will do the opposite and remove debris from the Hudson River Greenway, along Riverside Park -- our own local shore line. Organized by Tikkun HaYam / Repair The Sea, Reverse Tashlich is an international initiative to raise awareness in the Jewish Community about threats facing the ocean and the aquatic environment, and our responsibility as Jews to be stewards of it.

We will meet at the "AC Tashlich spot," which is on the Hudson River level of Riverside Park. Enter Riverside Park at 99th St. and walk north (about 1 "block") to the paved ramp which leads down to the Hudson River. Go down the ramp, under the overpass, to the grassy area across from the water.

Open to adults, teens and children ages 7+ (with adult supervision). Registration preferred, walk-ins welcome. Contact Rabbi Yael with questions.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
