Adults and children will gather at Ansche Chesed for a joyful Havdalah service led by our youth leaders. We'll then work together to prepare sandwiches and assemble meal packages for people in our neighborhood who are hungry and homeless.
We will buy most of the supplies, but we would like to request that attendees who can do so contribute $5 per person (or $15 per family) to help defray the costs. (If you cannot attend but would like to make a donation in support of this program, it would be very much appreciated. To do so, please go to the bottom of this form and enter your donation in the "Additional Donation" field.)
Additionally, we are seeking volunteers who can bring homemade brownies or blondies to the event that we will include in the meal packages. Please indicate what you plan to bring (and the quantity) in the “Notes” section of the registration page. Please slice the brownies or blondies into individual servings but do not individually wrap them – we will do so during the event.
All ages are welcome. We ask that younger children be supervised by their adult during the food preparation.
REGISTRATION FOR THIS PROGRAM HAS CLOSED AS WE HAVE HIT OUR CAPACITY.
WE WILL BE HAVING ANOTHER FAMILY HAVDALLAH AND SANDWICH MAKING ON FEBRUARY 8th, PLEASE REGISTER NOW FOR THAT EVENT
