1:00 PM - 2:30 PMJewish Heritage Museum
Middle schoolers, join us as we visit the "Courage to Act: Rescue in Denmark" exhibit at the Museum of Jewish Heritage. This interactive exhibit tells the remarkable story of resistance, community and escape. Denmark's citizens - Jews and non-Jews alike - staged one of the greatest rescue operations of all time during the Holocaust. In addition to a museum tour guide, middle school parent and teacher Amy Greenhouse will help lead our visit.
To travel to the Museum:
12pm - meet at 96th Street Subway station, north plaza, by the benches. (The group will return together, ETA 3pm.)
12:45-1pm - meet inside the museum lobby
The tour is open to 6th-8th graders; invite friends!
Parents invited, not required - $10/middle schooler; $18/adult.
REGISTRATION EXTENDED: RSVP by Wednesday, March 11 at 1pm.
